Text 17 Jan Cephlapods and rusty rods

Forced to embrace the day and couldn’t be happier.

Is it popssible to change someone’s mind?
thinking about it more while stoney, i came to the conclusion “change a mind” does not exist.
Each person on this planet has a certain way of thinking and taking in information. Not all thought is in words; sometimes thought is simply resembled in the mind with an image, scent, or some sort of sensation. The wordless part of thought is unique to each individual mind.

People will remember what they want based off what is most impacting-people have different priorities.  what is remembered is always going to differ from person to person.
Take for instance a female watching a fashion show compared to a male. an insecure girl is likely to notice how flawless the model’s skin is, how thin, how shiny her hair is, how good the dress looks on her, the silhouette of the dress, and anything else vain in nature. The images of commercial beauty are remembered most. (completely hypothetical stereotyped situation)
a conceited male is likely to remember how physically attractive that model is. Maybe even images of the model’s cleavage, and hair falling in just the right way to accentuate beautiful eyes. The images remembered and sensations will differ incredibly between these two people naturally.
They will naturally form their own opinion and memory.  Still, this is not to say that they both think the model is beautiful, they just view it differently.
And this is why i feel a mind can not be “changed”.
A mind can simply be shown alternatives to remember, but that person is still now and forever going to have the same thought process -same everything unless of course brain damage occurs. the only real possibility is adding new information to the opinion. in my opinion, the mind is not being “changed”. the mind is just gaining more; it’s not changing the process of thought, just encouraging it.
even if a person points out someone else’ thought process and how it should change to something like such and such, does that person really have control to “change” that? or is the new proposed alternative just going through the natural mind process the person already has? there are some many questions i have in  response to this question i asked myself. but as of now i find every reason to believe the mind can’t be changed.
Think serial killer mind, OCD mind, any socially considered “defective” mind. Can those truly be changed?

im thinking in type right now hah. ok ok, ok….ok bye
